What is a seven-fold necktie? Usually when a necktie is manufactured, it is made with an interlining of polyester or as we do at Tieroom, of wool. This is to give the necktie both stability and structure. When manufacturing a seven-fold necktie the silk fabric is folded multiple times to create the right stability and structure. With this construction the necktie feels thick and rich, and made all in silk! It simply gives the necktie an overall luxurious feel to it.
